Dear Sisters in the League,
The League is quite fortunate to be able to communicate items of interest using social media. Specifically, the League uses Meta (Facebook and Instagram), YouTube, X (formerly Twitter) and Pinterest. Each type of social media has a slightly different presentation, whether in the form of a sentence, photograph or video.
If you are interested in creating any social media accounts for your council, please follow the guidelines in the National Manual of Policy and Procedure Section 10: Media – Council Facebook Guidelines for any social media your council wishes to use.
The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops recently released a Pastoral Letter on the Use of Social Media, which I encourage everyone to read.
