On August 20th, hundreds of faithful attendees celebrated the blessing of The Archdiocesan Shrine of Santo Niño of Cebu at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Agassiz, BC. This Shrine of Santo Niño was built as a gift to the Archdiocese of Vancouver to create a permanent commemoration of 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines. Over 1400 donors, including numerous councils and individual members, supported the fundraising campaign for the construction of the shrine.
