St. Joseph’s Parish Council (Smithers, British Columbia) organized a work bee to make quilts as part of Lap Quilt project. At the November 2017 general meeting, a member had approximately fifty lap quilts made, which were distributed to assisted living service programs, the district hospital and the RCMP Victim Services program.
