St. Clement Parish Council (Dartmouth, NS) held the 1st Annual Theresa Carter Memorial Cakewalk, to great acclaim. Many special smiles as we gathered, and remembered Theresa Carter, a longstanding and much beloved member of their Council, who initiated an endeavour to support the Save-A-Family Plan. Over the years, they have supported two families in India each year, enabling them to pursue an education and graduate, becoming self-sustaining. They wanted to thank Theresa, for the many countless chocolate zucchini cakes, and the encouragement to follow suit, imitating her generosity of spirit towards those in need!
