Mary, Mother of the Church Parish Council (Winnipeg, MB) was pleased to be able to resume their Spring Luncheon. The guest speaker was Jim Thiessen from Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The organization builds beds and provides all of the bedding for children who do not have a bed or may even sleep on the floor. St. Michaels Parish Council (Cooks Creek, MB), The Knights of Columbus, and Mary Mother of the Church Parish Council donated towards the making of a bed which costs approximately $600.00. At the end of the presentation those attending sang a blessing for Jim.
