Implementation Committee Update—September 2023
We Have Some Winners!
The spring issue of The Canadian League included a bingo contest where members learned about some of the resources the implementation committee and its working groups have created.
Three winners were randomly chosen at the in-person implementation committee meetings in Winnipeg in July. The prize was a choice between reimbursement of the costs of attending a provincial convention or a $150.00 donation to a charity of choice. All three winners chose to donate their prize. Congratulations to the winners and their selected charities:
- Atlantic Canada/Quebec: Leslie Carr (Fredericton, New Brunswick) has chosen to donate to Mary’s Meals Canada (marysmeals.ca/).
- Ontario: Lisa Cossar (Norwood, Ontario) has chosen to donate to Peterborough ProLife Association (peterboroughprolife.ca/).
- Western Canada: Hertha Rose (Calgary, Alberta) has chosen to donate to Elizabeth House (elizabethhousecalgary.ca/).
