On Saturday, August 13th a Filipino night was held hosted by the Catholic Filipino community. The priests which were present were Father Rex Velmonte and Father Cerlouie Jimenez from the Nelson Diocese in British Columbia. Victoria Bartedo-Oppertshauser, the Nelson Diocesan President, welcomed and thanked National President Fran Lucas and other members for attending. Fran Lucas thanked her and the hosting community for graciously hosting them and for providing a wonderful meal and entertainment.
