Mass in Honour of Our Lady of Good Counsel

On Sunday, April 26th, members of The Catholic Women’s League of Canada are invited to come together in prayer through a special Mass in honour of Our Lady of Good Counsel. This Mass is offered for the intentions of living and deceased members, their families, spiritual advisors and for the continued well-being of the League. Celebrated by Cardinal Thomas Collins and prerecorded at the Manresa Jesuit Spiritual Renewal Centre (Pickering, Ontario), the scripture readings were read by National President Betty Colaneri. As women of faith, members are called to live their faith with purpose and conviction. This Mass provides a meaningful opportunity to ignite our passion through prayer and to be renewed in our commitment to empower His mission in our parishes, communities and beyond. The Mass will be broadcast on the following networks: ·         Daily TV Mass ·         FaithTV ·         JoyTV ·         Salt + Light TV ·         Vision TV ·         Yes TV Please note that broadcast times may vary by location. Viewers are encouraged to consult their local listings for schedule details. May we be guided by the wisdom of Our Lady of Good Counsel, strengthened in unity and inspired to continue our service “for God and Canada.”

Ignite Your Passion, Empower His Mission: A Reflection on the National Theme Webinar

Hosted by Karen Rossiter, National Chairperson of Faith With speaker Sister LIbby Osgood, CND.  Through reflection, visio divina and small group discussion, we will consider the national theme prayerfully and collaboratively. What does it mean to ignite our passion? How are we poor in spirit? How can we individually and collectively work to empower His mission? Sister Libby Osgood, a sister with the Congregation of Notre Dame and engineering professor at the University of Prince Edward Island, will lead us in prayer and reflection. WUCWO Day

WUCWO Day ENG 116 years committed to peace This year, the liturgy for 13 May, WUCWO Day, has been prepared by the North America Region; our special thanks go to our Regional Vice President, Barbara Dowding. The liturgy is simply a proposal and may be adapted to each situation and context. It may be celebrated on 13 May itself or on any other date, according to what best suits your organisation. What matters is that this occasion helps us become more aware of our belonging to WUCWO; to give thanks for the fruits achieved and to ask the Lord for his light for the steps ahead, and to strengthen our desire to walk together in our commitment to peace and in the shared mission of evangelisation and the integral development of women throughout the world. https://wucwo.org/en/wucwo-day-2026/
