A message from Ana Martiarena, Project Director of WUCWO’s World Women’s Observatory:

Today we are launching the Invisible Women’s Ambassador Campaign: in one month we want to reach 1000 ambassadors! Are you ready to say “yes”?

To be an Invisible Women’s Ambassador means to be part of a global movement that seeks to make visible those who suffer or have suffered violence and have been silenced. It is also about those who have accompanied and helped these women to move forward. The ambassador’s mission is to help raise awareness and promote significant change.Chantal is an example of this. After years of suffering and lack of opportunities, she found support from a WWO Ambassador, who reached out to her and gave her a real opportunity to move forward. Thanks to this accompaniment, today she is learning sewing and building a different future for herself and her family.

Your voice can make a difference for people like Chantal! Join this network of committed women and men and be part of the change the world needs! What can you do?
1. Join the community of ambassadors HERE
2. Consult the Toolkit  HERE
3. Share the campaign on your social media with the hashtag #InvisibleNoMore
4. Share the In-Visible Women Documentary and organise screenings of the documentary: in a cinema, in a hall, at home, at school, in your organisation, in your parish, etc. Take advantage of the guide on how to use the documentary.

You can also send your initiatives or testimonies to the Observatory team to help spread good practices globally.By participating in this campaign, you contribute to give a voice to silenced women and to build a more just society. Thank you for joining us!

See you soon and happy International Women’s Day!
