The Cathedral of the Holy Family Parish Council (Saskatoon, SK) celebrated 75 years of service with a Mass in which the ushers, gift bearers, readers, and extraordinary ministers of communion were all League members. They also received a special blessing from their chaplain, Father Joe-Nelo Penino and their pastor, Father Gerard Cooper.
During the mass, the national theme was portrayed in a beautiful handmade banner, created by their parish council president, Carol Grant. To further celebrate, birthday cake kits for the Saskatoon Food Bank were prepared, filled with a foil pan, cake mix, icing, candles, balloons and more.
