St. Mary’s Parish Council (Ladysmith, BC) celebrated their 90th anniversary on September 29th by inviting all parishioners and other councils to a tea.
A short program followed with acknowledgement given to their founding members and those who have kept the flame burning over the years. They encouraged present members to do the same and were privileged to have Mr. Bill Verchere there, son of their first president, Mrs. Sarah Verchere! He shared he was young at the time but remembers his mother being busy with League engagements.
