St. Bartholomew Parish Council in (Scarborough)

Feb 9, 2024 | Spotlight

Throughout 2023, St. Bartholomew Parish Council in (Scarborough, ON) worked on a project based on the CWL theme, “Catholic and Living It!“.

During the fall, members sent 59 shoeboxes filled with gifts to “Operation Christmas Child”, a Samaritan’s Purse project that delivers gift-filled “shoeboxes“ to children in need around the world.

During the holidays, they placed a playpen donated by two members in the foyer of the church to support the annual Rosalie Hall project. This project meets the needs of babies and young families in Scarborough. Members and parishioners donated 14 bags of baby necessities: 15 boxes of Huggies & Pampers; 2 large boxes of toys, 3 floor play toys together with $200 cash donations. Well done!
