National Bursary – Important Update Regarding Change in Criteria
An important change to the Terms of Reference for the national bursary was recently adopted by the national executive/board.
Previously, applicants were required to have three full years of League membership to be eligible for the bursary. This requirement has now been reduced to one full year of membership, making the bursary more accessible to members.
The national bursary provides financial assistance to members pursuing studies that align with and promote the Objects of the League. The fund continues to grow through the generous contributions of members and councils across Canada. The value of bursaries awarded each year depends on the donations received and the number of qualified applicants.
