President’s Outings – July 2023

What a strange feeling knowing that this is my last President’s Outings submission! I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my travels while attending all the wonderful events cross the country. 

The relationship-building Tea Parties continued and here are a few photos to share with you. Sandra O’Connell, Nova Scotia Provincial Council Vice President, had a fun time at her tea party.

Marg McCallum from Saint Gertrude Parish Council in Woodstock, NB also held a Tea Party.

My first trip in July was to Cornwall for the Ontario Provincial Convention. The planning committee ladies out-did themselves with the theme Go Make a Difference with the symbol of a bee everywhere you turned. 

Direct from Cornwall, I flew to Winnipeg for the National Resolutions Committee meeting and the Implementation Committee meeting. We attended Mass at St. Gianna Beretta Molla and were so happy to see the life-sized statue of the Saint. Father Darrin gave us a quick tour explaining the very unique sculpture of an apple tree with a Tabernacle built into it.
