May is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. On May 13th, League members joined Catholic women worldwide to celebrate WUCWO Day, coinciding with the Memorial of Our Lady of Fatima. May 31st celebrates the Feast of The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was welcomed by the greeting of her cousin Elizabeth. Cardinal Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, urged Catholics in 2023 “to be open and to be welcoming,” recalling that “Pope Francis has made it very clear that he doesn’t want people to be excluded simply on the basis of choices that they make, whether it be lifestyle, work, way to dress, or whatever.” Members are invited to pray the attached prayer.
