Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Council (Rothesay, NB) celebrated 70 years of “Service to God and Canada” on November 18th. The celebration began with mass by Rev. Stanislas Paulin, Spiritual Advisor, assisted by the former Spiritual Advisor, Rev. Michael LeBlanc. The ceremony was very well attended followed by a reception and banquet chaired by council president Jennie Gallant.

There was a large display of photos from over the years and history memorabilia on display. A history of the Council was read by the Past President Mary Margaret Doucet.The Anniversary Certificate was presented to Council President Jennie Gallant by the Provincial President Madonna Clark. It was a beautiful evening of sisterhood and memories giving thanks to God for the council and all the members who have responded to the call of service.
