“Ordinary Angels” is Now Playing in Theatres

Mar 1, 2024 | In the News, Media, News Releases

We encourage members to view and support the new faith-based film, “Ordinary Angels”.

Based on a remarkable true story, ORDINARY ANGELS centres on Sharon (Hilary Swank), a fierce but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed (Alan Ritchson), a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters. With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to helping the family and will move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring tale of faith, everyday miracles, and ordinary angels.

The goal of “Ordinary Angel,” filmmakers told The Christian Post, is to encourage those who profess Christ to turn their faith into action, as “faith without works is dead.” They said that even the most unlikely heroes can be an “ordinary angel” in their community. It’s a powerful and timely message, yet one rarely made in film and media.
