Jesus, help me to simplify my life by learning what you want me to be – and becoming that
person (St. Theresa of Lisieux).
By now, many of you will have attended your diocesan and provincial conventions, coming away inspired and grateful for the sharing and celebration of your work and being together. Now we look forward to the national convention, more sharing and celebrating of learning and spiritual growth, and the opportunity to participate in the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organizations’ conference.
What can you be doing or contemplating as we near a League summer break?
- How is your creation or review of your policy and procedure manual progressing?
- Do you have revisions to the Constitution & Bylaws identified as needing recommending
and, therefore, final wording to begin the approval process? - Have the photographs taken, articles clipped out, reports and minutes collected found
their rightful place in your archives?
Carry out the above tasks with the help of others. Engage members and build relationships!
It was a pleasure and an unbelievably rewarding opportunity to serve at the national level! Time spent with you has given me a solid belief in our collective ability to successfully pursue and accomplish anything we set our sights on as we say, “Here I am Lord, send me.”
May God continue to bless you, and Our Lady of Good Counsel intercede for your needs.
