On July 24th, representatives of the London Region Councils of the London Diocesan CWL donated $7,450.00 towards the roof of a new home built by Imagine Build, a housing project for those in need on the Indigenous reserve, Oneida Nation of the Thames.

One League member made a quilt for a little girl of the family receiving the house. With donated construction materials and fundraising efforts, Oneida has been able to build homes without relying on government funding. able to build homes without relying on government funding. An Indigenous committee selects the recipient and the construction crew. A professional contractor oversees the construction of each house. In the spring of 2025, they were constructing their fifth house.
