As the final months of the implementation of the strategic plan approach, it is a great pleasure sharing that the Goal 2 objectives to increase members’ knowledge of Catholic social teaching (CST) and increase collaboration with faith organizations and government are now complete.
The many resources that address the knowledge of CST are available for download from the national website under the title “Catholic social teaching.” The resources that will assist members in collaboration with governments are workshops available for download under the titles of Advocacy Workshop (a four-part workshop) and Government Relations (a three-part workshop).
With the recent release of the Importance of Ecumenical and Interfaith Relationships video, another working group has completed its action plan. This wonderful 14-minute video highlights the priority identified by members across the country seven years ago to improve the League’s collaboration and support of working with other Christian denominations and other religions. Do take the time to watch the video and share it with others.
