Give the Gift of Life
As a valued Partners for Life partner, the League has been invited to help spread the word about Canadian Blood Services’ “The Fall Get Together” campaign and encourage more members to book and attend donation appointments together. Whether through a team outing, inviting a friend or simply donating together, “every donation helps strengthen Canada’s blood and plasma supply” (Canadian Blood Services).
Individuals do not have to be League members to join the League’s Partners for Life blood donor team. Family, friends, parishioners and anyone who would like to support this important cause are welcome.
If you are already a blood donor, your previous donations remain part of your personal donation total. Once you join the League’s team, donations made during the current calendar year will also be counted retroactively toward the team total.
