The national annual meeting of members took place on Wednesday, beginning with a living rosary that enhanced the faith experience. The meeting reflected the dedication of members working together for the future of the League, guided by faith, respect and a shared commitment to strengthening sisterhood across Canada.
During the 106th annual meeting of members, delegates gathered to hear updates and reports from National President Betty Colaneri, who introduced her task force as well as reports from Spiritual Advisor Most Rev. Gerard Bergie, and Secretary-Treasurer Alice Noble.
The 106th annual meeting of members concluded in Halifax following the presentation of resolutions, with sisters from Manitoba presenting a joyful invitation to join them in Winnipeg in August, 2027. Reports from the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations (WUCWO) were received prior to the closing of the meeting.
