Sunday morning, League sisters took part in a walking tour of some of Halifax’s historic sites. The humid weather didn’t deter members from enjoying the opportunity to learn more about the city’s past. Along the way, guides shared interesting facts and colourful local lore while pointing out notable buildings and areas of interest.

Members, guests and clergy gathered for an afternoon meet and greet with the national executive, offering an opportunity to meet one another, reconnect with friends and welcome new faces. The room was filled with joyful conversation, warm embraces and grateful hearts. It was an incredible celebration of sisterhood!

The national convention officially opened Sunday evening with inspiring greetings and a beautiful Eucharistic celebration. Members and guests heard of the important role the League plays in parishes and communities throughout Canada. The national theme, Ignite Your Passion, Empower His Mission, came to life throughout the evening, reminding those gathered that faith is the source of their strength.

After the official opening, the evening continued with a reception where members and guests were able to spend time together in friendship. New connections were formed and the spirit of sisterhood was evident in every conversation.
