St. John the Baptist Parish Council (New Glasgow, NS) celebrated their 80th anniversary by creating birthday cake kits for the food bank, which included a cake pan, cake mix, a bottle of coke (to make the cake without the need for eggs), a can of frosting, sprinkles and candles. They made up 40 kits and delivered them to the delight of the food bank staff.
