Cervical Cancer
Whereas, cancer of the cervix is almost completely curable if detected early; therefore, be it
Resolved, that the national council of The Catholic Women's League of Canada, in 78th annual national convention assembled, urge councils at all levels to initiate awareness programs on the importance of early detection of cervical cancer by means of a regular Papanicolaou (Pap) Smear; and be it further
Resolved, that the national council of The Catholic Women's League of Canada, in 78th annual national convention assembled, encourage members to have Pap testing done on a regular basis and to encourage others to do likewise.
