Resolution - 1937.08 Whereas , the Apostleship of the Sea, a lay movement which covers the ports of the world has been established in all ports and devotes itself to the spiritual and material aid of all seamen, and concerns The Catholic Women's League of Canada, due to the fact that a recommendation was made at the Hamilton convention requesting the League to take an interest in the further development of the Apostleship of the Sea; therefore, be it Resolved, that now this work is an international achievement, we, The Catholic Women's League of Canada ask for the wholehearted sympathetic support of the Apostleship by our organization as a national body of Catholic women .
