Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel

Whereas, Catholics recognize prayer as essential to success in all good works, and the Catholic Women's League should thereby encourage unity of prayer for the fulfillment of its worthy alms; and

Whereas, members of religious orders would gladly assist in this way, not being in a position to give other assistance to any great extent; and

Whereas, the spiritual advantages to be derived from the proposed devotional practice would be an incentive to many to join the League who would not otherwise do so,

Resolved, That we renew our promise to make April 26th, the Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel, a day of special prayer for the intentions of the League, and that wherever practicable members will receive Holy Communion in a body on that day.
