December 14, 2011Greetings. May this Christmas season be full of faith, fun and fulfillment.
The main purpose of this communiqué is to provide an updated national bursary application form and criteria. Please ensure that councils use this form when members are applying for a bursary in the future. Also enclosed is a list of university, college and parish programs that qualify for the bursary program. Please note this list is not exhausting, but is meant to assist members seeking spiritual growth.
I would like to repeat the request made in my report to the 91 st annual national convention in Toronto encouraging members in every province to make use of the national bursary fund. Chairpersons of education and health should talk about the bursary fund at local council meetings and in communiqués.
I will be sending another communiqué soon. In the meantime enjoy the holiday season but take time for prayer and a little rest because before too long it is time to submit annual reports.
